Welcome to “Don’t Cut Off Your Ear”- our class Wiki. The famous artist I am referencing should be obvious. However, I am naming it this for another reason. It is going to be the AP Studio Art class motto. In other words, no matter how stressed out you get this year, “Don’t Cut Off Your Ear!” It simply isn’t worth it. Do you really want to look like this for prom? ARTISTIC INTEGRITY MESSAGE FROM THE AP COLLEGE BOARD: "If you submit work that makes use of photographs, published images, and/or other artists' works, you must show development beyond duplication. This may be demonstrated through manipulation of the material(s), formal qualities, design, and/or concept of the original work. It is unethical, constitutes plagiarism, and often violates copyright law to simply copy an image (even in another medium) that was made by someone else. You may not simply copy published photographs." Think about it this way: Would you want someone copying your artwork, without you receiving any credit, compensation, etc. for YOUR ideas? Need more? Add graphics and flourishes that match your wiki design (they're free from Paint Splatters) |
